The Administrative Assistant at LAA is an integral part of our team. The duties go beyond clerical work and include managing our pet food bank program and greeting visitors. We are looking for someone friendly and upbeat, able to take initiative, organized, must be able to multi-task, and work well with other staff and visitors. Experience working in animal rescue and/or a veterinary clinic is preferred. Basic knowledge about cats and dogs is required. Answer phones, emails, FB messages and return voicemails. Keep a log of phone calls received. Track invoices and prepare for approval. Track donor information and input to Donor Perfect. Responsible for bank deposits, preparing payroll and distributing checks. Open and sort mail, deliver to appropriate personnel. Manage Community Pet Food Bank program. Delegate emails to appropriate personnel. Assist with Petpoint data entry as needed. Working after 5pm and on some weekends might be required. Must be a team player. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred Receptionist and clerical experience required. Must be friendly and helpful to anyone that calls or visits.
