We are looking to hire a second Development Director. The primary responsibility for this position is to raise money for Lafayette Animal Aid. General Responsibilities Solicit donors Sustain relationships with current donors Write grants Develop a marketing and public relations strategy for LAA Assist in LAA’s existing fundraisers as well as developing new fundraising events Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or non-profit leadership with fundraising experience (required) Required experience: Grant Writing, Fundraising, Marketing: 1 year Strong verbal communication and persuasive writing is also required for this position Familiarity with Constant Contact, Sharepoint and Quickbooks is preferred. We are looking for someone that has the experience but is also passionate about our mission. Salary $30,000.00 /year
